Self Storage Science, LLC is a Texas-based self-storage property management company providing services and resources for self-storage owners, operators, and investors. Our services may include property management, marketing, facility operations, facility auditing, and related business services.

References to “Self Storage Science,” “we,” “us,” or “our” throughout these Terms refer to Self Storage Science, LLC and, where applicable, its affiliated entities, employees, representatives, and service providers.

These Terms govern your use of the Self Storage Science website at selfstoragescience.com.

 

These website Terms do not replace or modify separate management agreements, consulting agreements, service agreements, proposals, contracts, or other written agreements entered into between Self Storage Science and its clients.

 

If you are a Self Storage Science client or a party to a separate agreement with Self Storage Science, the services covered by that agreement will be governed by the terms of the applicable agreement. If there is a conflict between these website Terms and a separately executed agreement concerning services provided to you, the separately executed agreement will control with respect to those services.

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The Site is intended primarily to provide information about Self Storage Science, our company, our services, and methods for contacting our team.

Informal Resolution First

 

Before initiating a formal claim relating to these Terms or the Site, you agree to make a reasonable effort to resolve the dispute informally by contacting Self Storage Science.

The parties will have 30 days following receipt of written notice of the dispute to attempt an informal resolution before either party initiates formal proceedings, except where immediate legal or equitable relief is reasonably necessary.

Self Storage Science reserves the right to modify these Terms from time to time.

When material changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page may be revised. Unless otherwise required by law, updated Terms become effective when posted to the Site.

Except for disputes eligible for small-claims court, requests for appropriate injunctive relief, or matters that cannot legally be subject to arbitration, disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Site that cannot be resolved through the informal-resolution process may be resolved through binding individual arbitration in accordance with applicable law.

Any arbitration will be conducted by a mutually acceptable arbitration provider under the provider’s applicable rules unless the parties agree otherwise.

To the extent permitted by law, you and Self Storage Science agree that claims subject to arbitration will be pursued individually and not as part of a class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding.

To the extent legally permitted, each party waives the right to have disputes subject to binding arbitration decided by a jury.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from pursuing a claim in small-claims court when that claim qualifies or seeking appropriate relief for infringement or misuse of intellectual-property rights.

Self Storage Science may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Site when reasonably necessary, including in response to suspected violations of these Terms, security concerns, unlawful activity, or misuse of Site resources.

Following termination, provisions that by their nature should remain effective will survive, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and other applicable legal provisions.

By using the Site, submitting information electronically, or communicating with Self Storage Science through electronic means, you consent to receive applicable communications electronically.

Such circumstances may include natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental actions, labor disputes, epidemics or pandemics, utility failures, telecommunications failures, internet outages, cyber incidents, or disruptions involving third-party service providers.
